There are five batches of 105 in this zone. On April 7, Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council presided over an executive meeting of the State Council, and launched a series of measures such as the addition of a comprehensive cross-border e-commerce pilot zone, support for processing trade, and the online hosting of the Canton Fair to actively respond to the impact of the epidemic and strive to stabilize the basic foreign trade and foreign investment. On April 27, the State Council issued the "Approval on Approving the Establishment of Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zones in 46 Cities and Regions including Xiongan New District", agreeing to establish cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones in 46 cities and regions, Sichuan Province Deyang and Mianyang are among them. Prior to this, Chengdu and Luzhou have been approved in Sichuan. With the approval of Deyang and Mianyang, the number of cities in Sichuan Province approved to establish comprehensive cross-border e-commerce pilot zones has increased to four.
On the official website of the Canton Fair, each of the four cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones in Sichuan offered promotion coups, each with distinctive characteristics. As a “veteran” of cross-border e-commerce, Chengdu was approved as a national comprehensive test zone for cross-border e-commerce in January 2016. On the comprehensive pilot zone page, Luzhou promoted itself like this: with the "free trade pilot zone and the comprehensive bonded zone" as the core, it will build a cross-border e-commerce development pattern of "one zone and eleven parks". Relying on the Yangtze River water transport channel, the Guangzhou-Luzhou railway channel, the Yunlong Airport air transport channel and the convenient expressway channel, it can effectively serve the southwest and northwest regions of China. On January 17, 2020, Luzhou was included in the pilot scope of cross-border e-commerce retail imports.
Deyang and Mianyang are "recruits" after the expansion of the national cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot area this year. In the "cloud" of the Canton Fair, two cities also showed a "roadmap" for cross-border e-commerce development:
